With a long history as the home of Fisher & Paykel’s refrigeration and laundry manufacturing, 78 Springs Road is a site that has continually adapted to changing industry. Today, that legacy is being reimagined through a landmark redevelopment by T Plus Architects, creating a new generation of high-performance logistics and state-of-the-art commercial facilities.
Delivered in stages, the development combines striking architectural design with exceptional operational performance.
Stage One, a custom-designed 25,500m² distribution centre for Fisher & Paykel Appliances, has already achieved a 5 Green Star Design rating, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency and long-term operational value. Stage Two continues this vision with flexible, state-of-the-art warehouse facilities targeting the same high environmental standard.
Beyond performance, the development makes a confident architectural statement. Clean contemporary forms, expansive glazing and carefully considered detailing elevate what is traditionally a purely functional building typology, creating workplaces that are both efficient and visually compelling.
Specified throughout the development, the Supreme Diamond-V hand dryer reflects the project’s emphasis on high-performance design, sustainability and premium aesthetics.
Its compact form, anodised aviation aluminium finish and distinctive diamond-cut detailing integrate seamlessly into contemporary washrooms, while a fast 12-second dry and energy-efficient brushless motor deliver the long-term performance expected of any modern commercial facility.
