We love finding our products in some of the most interesting places in New Zealand…and this one blew us away!
Sitting pride of place in the privately-owned museum is a retired 130 tonne Super Dozer… one of only two left in NZ. The hugely impressive Dozer is surrounded by its fellow antiquated work-horses; several vintage fire engines, bulldozers, pick-up trucks (to name a few)…as well as a purpose built ‘old school’ themed garage full of vintage tools.
Enter the bathroom through rusty ‘pick-up-truck’ doors, where a variety of car parts have been repurposed as bathroom fittings. In the gents, the room is lit by a set of headlights mounted on the wall, the urinals are mounted inside large oil sumps and the cisterns are made from old jerry cans. The ladies toilets have a hand wash basin made from a car gearbox.
The bit that excited us the most was an old petrol pump, which has been converted into a hand wash basin by combining parts from an SPL Sensor Tap.
