Te Ara Ātea, Rolleston’s new and nationally significant Taonga, opened in December last year. The 2,200 square metre modern space embodies a library and multi-functional community facility, a performance area, technology room and café. State of the art technology, not seen in New Zealand previously, includes New Zealand’s largest projection screen and the latest in photogrammetry and display technology.
The $22.7 mil Te Ara Ātea was designed by Warren and Mahoney; the building a result of the strong partnership between Te Taumutu Rūnanga and Council. Te Ara Ātea is nestled amongst a carefully designed landscape that looks to heighten sensory perceptions of all residents and visitors.
Inside the washrooms, Supreme Diamond-V Hand Dryers in silver were installed; a perfect compact, quiet and stylish solution for this striking community facility.
