On a recent trip to Queenstown John and Fiona SPL directors were given a conducted tour of the Queenstown International Airport. Highlights of the new facility include an impressive building management system to control the new energy saving LED lighting, thus allowing lighting levels to be tailored to usage therefore compensating for lights being turned on and being left on when there are very few customers in the area.
Washrooms in the new terminal feature an impressive one piece moulded wash stand with time operated faucets and custom made recesses for the Supreme Jet Dry Executive hand dryers.
The Supreme Jet Dry Executive hand dryers were chosen for this build because of their high speed combined with their low power consumption and low noise levels. An important feature of the Supreme hand dryers was their ability to collect water and reduce water splashes on the floor and walls keeping the area clean and dry, thus reducing the danger of any slip hazard. The Supreme Jet Dry Executive hand dryer also is fitted with a high-efficiency particulate air (H.E.P.A) filter and a fragrance pod that will add to the overall cleanliness of the new facility.
